Perspectives Magazine is an award-winning annual publication written and produced by local teens.

High school students from the city of Detroit, Metro Detroit and Canada each wrote a story during our Journalism Camp led by Detroit Writing Room and New York Writing Room coaches.

Perspectives also features photography by Detroit high school students who participated in Coaching Detroit Forward’s Beginner and Advanced Photography Camps.

The 2023 edition will be out in November. You can order a copy to receive it in the mail!

All proceeds support our 501(c)(3) nonprofit arm Coaching Detroit Forward, which offers opportunities for Detroit high school students to attend our journalism and photography camps for free.
