Pitch Your Story Competition

Oct. 10, 2019 at 7 p.m.

Do you have what it takes to convince a panel of journalists to publish your story? Find out at The Detroit Writing Room's Pitch Your Story Competition.

Presenters get 3 minutes to pitch their business, nonprofit, event, cause or personal story in front of a panel of judges from the media. Your pitch should include why your story deserves to be told and what makes it newsworthy.

The first place winner will have their story published online and in a print issue of SEEN Magazine. The second place winner will have their story published online at seenthemagazine.com.
